Do you want my MTV?
Ok, well we purchased a TV the other day, but I am not sure why. They broadcast one station here for free…everything else you have to pay extra. Since we do not have our permanent home yet, we cannot setup additional channels. However, I thought you might want to take a peek at our viewing options. Please visit our videos sections of our website and watch our MTV. Can anyone tell me what they are saying? The programming is really quite comical. The other day I was interpreting for the family. At one point I think Braden really thought I knew what they were saying… I had kinda convinced myself I knew what they were talking about. Earlier today they cut from Word Cup news to Monsters Inc. Our kids were so excited, the bad part was it started and played only the last third of the movie. That didn’t seem to matter, they were so excited to watch something they understood. At the end of Monsters Inc, they started The Emperors New Groove (another kid friendly movie.) Man the place was hopping with excitement until they cut from the movie for the prayer call. They never went back to the movie. I have no idea why they show 30 minutes of the end of one movie and 30 minutes of the beginning of another. One more thing to figure out.Well it seems that Braden is getting better. His fever is not so high and he is acting like himself again. It turns out that my friend Ibrahim that was supposed to take me fishing on Saturday was unable to go because his baby got a fever on that morning. After hearing the DL on the main island, it turns out that there is a virus going around. It not only is going around the island, but it is going around our house. Brado passed the virus on to Kindy and I’m sure Ang and I are next and probably in that order. Angie has been sleeping with the sick kid (as mothers do.) I know there is no other option. The good thing is the fever is manageable and only last a 3 or 4 days. If my math is right, we should kick this thing in a couple of weeks.Well I guess that is about all for today.
