Father’s Day

My kids were so sweet today. I woke up to them coming in my room with toast. Mom was still dragging (no I dont mean dressing up in some crazy clothes) and trying to get over the island virus. She promised she did not touch any of the food. I am real weird like that. I have washed the sheets and towels everyday…. so far so good… I am not sick yet. I think I’m going to escape this nasty thing. Angie felt so bad because she was in bed a good portion of the day today. The kids and I went on a little adventure. We had some milkshakes (well at least it was an attempt at it.) It was powdered milk with ice in the bottom and some vanilla for flavoring. I spent so much time trying to connect to the internet and send my newsletter (which has not been successful yet) that I felt like they deserved a little sumpun sumpum. The kids didnt like the milk whatevers so we went to a little shop and bought a DVD. Who would think? We bought one DVD with Shrek, Shrek 2, Lilo & Stich and Lilo and Stich 2. That’s like a buck 20 per movie…. and they were happy.

When we got home, I made macaroni and cheese and cooked up some chicken franks on the little cooker. Well it wasnt the best meal, but it filled our tummies. It pretty much stormed all evening. I guess this is why they call it the rainy season. The sound system guys have not played my CD again. Guess they were just being nice or they really love Guns and Roses.

Dad, Happy Father’s Day. Sorry I couldnt talk to you today, but you know I love you and thought about you a lot during the day. I tried to time it just right so I could call you, but I could not find my phone and then the timing slipped away then it would have been like midnight when I called. I dont really know why I am confessing this for the whole world to see, but I guess it makes me feel better to let the whole world know I really love you and want to wish you a happy Father’s Day.

I got a call from the Trade Department and said my business papers would be ready tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted. I have heard this “tomorrow” song and dance before.

So many of you responded to our “mail test.” Thank you. I will follow up with an email and directions on how to mail to us. You guys are awesome. It makes us cry (really) to know you guys are following us on the blog. Thanks, you mean a lot to us.
